Neglected this blog again gah. Okay project's day shall come first.
Good job everyone =) the long times of preparation for the presentation were worth it. It seemed very bad at first with the two judges and shyh horng shaking their heads, when we finally got the news it was kind of unexpected and expected at the same time because of the amount of time we spent preparing.
Good friday was food packing day. Got to pack the weevily rice using the sealer. High temperatured sealers are not only meant for sealing plastic bags..heh. After that was tennis at bertrand's house with bert and jing yao. I suddenly have a crazy over my primary school cca again. When I got there the rain had just stopped, so we dried the court, played for like, half an hour before it started raining again. Waited out at bert's house for the rain to stop before going back out again, which meant that we had to dry the court.
Flier distribution on saturday. Overall it was quite okay, but kind of tiring. Still fun though lol. The chairman of the rc is super nice, when he heard that the rice had weevils in them, he used his own money to buy 33 packets of 1kg rice to replace the infested rice.
Sunday was tennis again but with shyh horng this time. Super tiring also but really fun haha. Jc courts are free for use and empty on sundays. There were students in school studying, I think, even on sunday o.o
First day of chats has been quite okay so far. Jing kai heard it as chess lol, how could I be some chess genius. Alex is the new student from ny lol. School tour, with kevin identifying ong teng cheong as lee kong chian, briefing and then lunch. Next was museum tour., haven't been there for at least 5 years, I've just never been there since they renovated. Ducktours was quite fun, except for the fact that we were with the students form china, so..the guide spoke in china. I managed to keep awake for the first half by taking pics and listening to his lame jokes, but after that I just slept. Dinner was quite nice, then ice breaker games, during which I had to do 1 push up for every person in my group and saying..nevermind lol. Good thing my group had only 13 people, it could have been worse.
Was thinking that I'd be too troubled by the whole week of lessons I'd be missing, especially since next week is test week. But there was this teacher who told us not to think about studying since we can't study. But when jordy can pass me my work everyday, it's a completely different story.
When one door closes, another one opens, but who's to say there isn't a brick wall lying behind that door.
