I shall start my haven't posted in a long time post with another food picture. Finally got to eat at botak jones today after having to resist it everytime I walked past the stall at clementi.

Chats is over, it was much better than expected. There was much more interaction as compared to tianjin last year, probably because of the icebreakers and the nutty hong kongers haha. I doubt it would have been so fun without them, it was them tricking us a lot at first but mostly us tricking them in the end =) met a lot of new friends and also got closer to current ones. Not forgetting the air conditioned rooms in hall e that allowed us to survive the sweltering heat last week.

I must have flunked my chinese test on friday, simply couldn't remember all the cheng yu, and I felt so pathetic not knowing the meanings of so much stuff, that's how weak my chinese is =/ keep telling myself that I'll go read or something, but in the end I've hardly done anything. I had better do something if I want to save my o levels.

Food drive yesterday wasn't that successful though, we intended for the food to last a few months, looks like most of it will only be able to last one month. I was kind of pissed when I followed the sec 4s around to take photos. I had been following the part as and bs before that and they were all doing pretty good jobs. But for the sec 4s it was a totally different case. They finished their blocks very quickly, guess why. They barely waited a few seconds after ringing the doorbell, not knocking the door, because they don't even bother approaching any houses if the doors are closed. I asked one guy why he walked away and he said "The door close until like that what!" like what the hell, you have a freaking hand, can't you freaking knock on the door? I don't know how much food went to waste because of this, the sec 4s took quite a lot of blocks after all. There were people who actually prepared a few bags of food to donate, and some who went to buy the food immediately after we told them about the food drive. And yet, we have sec 4s who are like this.

I fell asleep during tuition today @_@ but amazingly I felt super refreshed after that, and for once I could actually remember the stuff I learnt, like some cheng yu which had 4 ghosts inside, if you can guess what it is, I shall give you..a nougat. I finally remembered to bring it to boarding school

I still find myself goalless, like, I don't know, where do I go? Oh well.
