Neglected this blog for quite awhile again.
These few days were pretty bad, two of my plans got screwed up despite planning way before hand, and both times were because of two other last minute plans that I had to go to, one because of family, the other because..nevermind. Let's just say that it's like, the medicine in a medicine shelf for example, you definitely won't take all the medicine there regularly, but when you get a cut and there're no plasters you'll start to notice. I'm really sorry all the plans screwed up because of me =/
When you're pissed and you can't go run or play basketball, go do 240 push ups and take a cold shower, maybe you'll feel better.
Enough about that, saturday wasn't a very good day. Went for tuition, and it was, a bittersweet feeling. I won't say I love going for tuition, especially this year since the class isn't as fun as previous years, okay for previous years it was quite enjoyable. I've been going to this tuition since, p1, or even before that. It's a chinese tuition centre called mind language centre near bishan park, situated in a bomb shelter. When I first went there, they were kind of like, still in their early stages, and they were located at the area opposite where they are now. I went through all the way even after they moved to the side where they currently have the lessons. And throughout this period of time I've got to know the two..principals, okay not say principals, they just own the tuition centre, husband and wife. Both have taught me countless times over the years, and they taught my sister too. I went to bukit timah hill for the first time with that tuition centre, and also to malaysia, and other random trips when I was in lower secondary, sort of to like, let you have more stuff to write about once you get to the have to do work part. Anyway, like, one or two or can't remember how many years ago they merged with mavis, yes, that mavis. The one I used to attend, this is just my personal opinion but, don't know why but, okay I shall just say even though I don't really like chinese, I preferred the chinese tuition much more. Anyway, once mavis took over, the classrooms totally changed. Previously it was like, something you would find in a meeting room, it's just like, tables interconnected going along the boundary of the room, with chairs along, and the rooms were also very nicely decorated. But since the merge, it became those chairs with a tiny little table that can't even fit a whole a4 sized paper on it, somehow the whole cosy feel just kind of, disappeared. At first I just thought it was a merge, but he told us..okay I can't mention here. Just that they're leaving, so I don't think I'll be continuing anymore, okay I won't.
Early yesterday morning, I went for a hair cut, then to beach road, then to funan, then to chinatown to meet my grandmother, aunt, uncle and cousin for lunch first. Ate this dim sum buffet which was quite nice, but the portions super small, and they have different symbols for you to mark on the menu for like, which round, they only gave up to the 4th round, so we were wondering what happens if you still want to eat even after 4 rounds. Went to chinatown next for my grandmother to buy her cny stuff. Super hot and crowded. And along those shophouses, you can find weird places like "sensual massage", wonder how it even managed to set up there. My mother and sis couldn't go cos both of them are sick.
Went home, pack stuff, moved back to boarding school. Some guy asked me if I'm participating in isyf, presenter counted not? Chiong all the homework that I forgot to do, chinese chang wen suo duan, 2 math homework.
-goes for dinner-
Back from dinner and found out about what happened during the humanities seminar, so dumb, and so disgraceful, even though..okay nevermind.
This morning all the smtp sec 4s went for international science youth forum opening ceremony. The chairman for the organising team was jian hua..somehow he's good in everything. Did so well in humanities in high school then went to jc and did so well in sciences. It was kind of hard understanding the nobel laurette's speech cos the volume was quite soft and there was a very heavy british accent.
Physics lessons was interesting lol, what happens when leonard gets electrocuted.
After school went to jurong pri then went back to school to find yang cheng at the stall with snaple 2 for $3.50. I want my money back lol, another snapple will do too.
Don't know why but I'm feeling that emptiness again. And it's not because I'm hungry.
