Haven't been posting the last few days,
Wednesday. Math was pretty interesting, can't remember whether this was on wednesday or thursday though but heck. There was this like some wireless hub for each table, then each hub was connected to 4 graphic calculators so the teacher conducted lesson using this, and we could submit responses and stuff. It was amusing to see people flooding the screen with sin, cos and tan graphs thinking that they wont get found out. But they forgot that they had logged on using an account and mrs khoo could pause the screen and find out who they were to blacklist them lol.
Assembly was supposedly interesting. But if it's interesting how come i slept right through it? It was basically about this guy from some pest exterminator company who venture into bio-medical stuff. Then he was saying like "fog the hell out of them" and "fog at night and in the day". Then he started showing pictures of how they use maggots to get rid of gangrene or something, then the maggots ate the rotten toe of some diabetic guy until you can only see the bone left so they could amputate it, and yes they showed us pictures of all this. I was sleeping heh.
Posting results released. Meetings and stuff. Reached home at like 8.30. Needed to mug for physics. Then mug mug mug sleep at like 1+. Still not too bad.
Thursday. If the interesting math thing was on thursday then -insert above paragraph here- physics test. No idea how i did, a lot of careless mistakes. Bio was fun. We dissected a sheep's heart. By we i mean ngpeng and troy, i didn't, i did the writing, so sheep go find them in their dreams.
Ironman creativity con-something. First task was to write down the lyrics of a song they were playing. Later i found out that it's dying by five for fighting, go listen to it and try to decipher. Next was crossing an area to two containers using two chairs and carrying water with only your mouth to fill up the two containers. Super tiring. The first piece of paper they gave us only had 2 tasks, it was supposed to end at 5.30 and it was 5.10 then so we thought we were done but then..
They told us we had another 2 more tasks. First was to run up to a buzzer and answer questions. Poor buzzer got crushed. And there was this fat guy like bull running around pushing people away. Then zhihao..one of the few times he was actually going to be the first one to the buzzer..then..he tripped. After that depending on the amount of points we got we were allowed to choose a certain amount of item to make something to help an egg stay in the air for the longest amount of time and hopefully prevent it from breaking. Congrats to zhihao, jordy, yongle and jingkais group for getting 1st!
Had current affairs discussion this morning. Quite interesting..
After that was english. We had to do a sort of debating with not much debating since its just presenting your side of the topic within 5 minutes. When junxian finished he was like
"how much time?"
"4mins13(passed)"
then since he had nothing more to say..he said
"i believe some of you were not paying attention just now so i shall repeat my last point -goes on to read the exact same thing from the script- now i will summarise -reads the same thing again-"
Then someone presenting on women having the right to choose abortion said something like they have to endure child labour lol.
Today was our last training as cadets. We fell in as per normal. But we greeted and took attendance the old way. Felt quite nostalgic. Drills, something we haven't done in a long time. It's nice to hear that one solid bang, especially when we do it together as part a'06, part b'07, part c'08.
Running, was supposed to do 8 rounds but we did 6 rounds instead. Nevertheless i believed we cheered our hearts out. Another thing we didn't get to do in a long time, and will hardly get to do too.
Memorable training, made us remember all our past trainings too.
After training we ate cake for the june people's birthdays. Then i stayed in school to talk while the rest went to market. In the end talk until like close to 9. Went to j8 to buy dinner, reached home at 9.45. Ate at 10. Tired tired tired. I slept at least once during every single lesson today.
