Not a very good day. Broke a record today, first time failing test. Not a very good record. 9.5/20, failed by 0.5 when i could have passed if i had just labelled the damn graphs. Forget it it's already over.

On a slightly happier note tomorrow is our last test! And exam for someone lol. Performance training which means good. And the responses to mr krison tan's message are funny lol. He's trying to compile all the myths and stories and stuff about hci but got quite a lot of amusing responses. I shall go through and pick out good ones lol.

I heard from someone that someone parachuted into the clock tower and died.
lol wth?

i dont know any facts, myths or stories.

The clocks never go past midnight. At midnight they just rewind back to 12.01 am.

FACTS: 1. Hwa chong has one of the biggest campus among all the secondary schools in south-east asia. FYI, its 79 acres (320000m^2). 2. Hwa chong have consistently been ranked in the top 4 under the official rankings by the Ministry of Education. Not quite sure about this. 3. First school to initiate the Integrated Programme. 4. Hwa chong have only lost (track & field) less than 10 times within its 86 year history 5. The famous Mr Brown and Sharon Au graduated from Hwa Chong Junior College 6. The Chinese High School is featured in both wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Chinese_High_School) and even in uncyclopedia (http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Hwa_Chong_Institution). Btw, uncyclopedia is a parody of wikipedia. 7. For those who don't know, hci's website used to be http://www.tchs.edu.sg/, not http://www.chs.edu.sg/. Not sure why they removed the "The" from "The Chinese High School". May not be correct, but that's what my cousin told me, who was an old boy from hwa chong. Should be right bah. xD 8. There was a year or two (around year 2000-2002) when we had FIVE consortiums: Aphelion, ProEd, Radix, Quest and iSpark. Radix and Quest then merged into...yea you guessed it, Ortus.
ummm..okay, dont bother reading this o.o

There have been screams coming from our class almost everyday after school or during reccess(e.g.Hu took my water bottle, give it back nao!!!).It is said that 50years ago, a famous philosopher visited Singapore and lost his beloved water bottle at spot which is now our class 2o(that explains the screams). Every Friday, our class would mysteriously be messed up,littered with newspaper balls, and the class lights would be off at night, but on during the day, ironic yea? The stories I have heard
hmm

I have heard people telling each other that LT1 is actually the school bus stop

when anyone walks across the school field to the centre at night, take off his shoes and socks, lie down with his legs facing the clock tower, body parrallel to the flag poles, clock tower and KKH,and close his eyes,if he clears his mind and think of nothing, he will fall asleep(WOW).

Note: try at your own risk! if you throw an orange at TKK statue, he will catch it, eat it, and return to his original position

The underground shelter near the table - tennis rooms leads to NYGH. 0.o
that's where our school fees go o.o

"rent a textbook" was not implemented because someone used it merely as a tool for achieving power (i.e. not checking its feasibility befre campaigning with it) computers in the library are extremely high speed 5. fees for printing in the library rose from 3 cents per page to 4 cents per page 6. Uncle Gopal used to scold us when we step over the fountain outside the Kah Kee Hall or step on the grass patches around the tower block because there are a lot of dead bodies buried under them. 7. school fees in S$300 per month. Class funds are collected very frequently.
lol

1. The top of the clocktower was a secret bondage chamber with extremely exclusive admission passes. The chamber was frequented by our founding fathers, as Confucian theology dictated that they should not betray emotions in public, hence they sought alternate avenues of expression such as bondage. 2. Tan Kah Kee, as we all know, was the celebrated war general who drove the corrupt japanese out of hwachong's hallowed lands. It is rumoured that he could twist the head of his cane and draw a saber.
lol? guess who wrote this

The TKK statue will come to life at the stroke of midnight and whack the butts of those boys who wear ankle socks.
He's corroding o.o

Its rumored that during the Cold War, the United States of America and the Singapore Government had cooperated to develop a super high powered Inter Continental Ballistic Missile that was estimated to have a yield of 500 megatons worth of TNT. The missile was never used due to its late development and the ending of the Cold War in 1991 but classified records in Area 51 indicate that the missile is still hidden beneath the Clock Tower, and that the National Monument is actually a massive Missile Silo that can be only activated by a combined endorsement from the United States and the Singapore Government in the case of a world-wide crisis where immediate obliteration of a nation is demanded.

It is rumoured that Horlicks has as much Vitamin B6 as 48 bananas, as much calcium as 55 cups of milk and as much Iron as 3kg of spinach
Horlicks has the letters h, c and i in it.

What happened to LT1? Here is the absolute truth I heard from a senior. On 21 March 1968, he walked past LT1 (once located in the middle of the school field). He skipped lunch so he was feeling hungry and wished that he has some food with him. All of a sudden, there was a loud noice. "POOF!", and LT1 became CoCo Crunch!
Still the best explanation for the non-existance of LT1 lol.

Okay conclusion. Hwa chong students are overly stressed/stay up late to reply these messages and reply them like asking you if you eat the top part of the bread.

Ihc test tomorrow, must get 102/100 to get a1 for ih this term..hmm.
