AFFIRMATION CEREMONY 2008

Reached school at 6.25 when we were supposed to be there by 7.30 lol. Draw rifles, go to indoor stadium. Did a few practices on our own. Ate malay lunch lol. Then stoned inside the pds room, backstage of indoor stadium is nice haha. Probably the only chance i will get to go there. Slept awhile, then changed. And the ceremony started.

Freestyle was first, couldn't see much of jingkai's performance but he koped csm formations lol lol lol. Next was march in, super nervous. I was watching while my heart was pounding, even more nervous than performing lar. But overall it was pretty good, good job off stage =) Next was the welcome guards, first contact with the audience? lol. Stoned there super long before the vips came, then the vvip. So lame lar why must have vip and vvip, kind of defeats the purpose, then can have dunno how many v de ip. vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvip, mas selamat. We had like a 20min interval before the main performance. Oh oh there was one part when it started to stink, then the ncc band is called swiss winds, so somebody suddenly said SWISS WINDS lol lol lol. Okay if you don't get it then..german gas lol. Anyway we did a whoosh, and not long later we were off!

Wasn't as nervous as compared to other performances, cny was still the most nervous lol. When the music started playing, suddenly feel damn high cos it's like damn loud and the sound quality damn good. My rotation during main performance was like super scary, cos the song is quite fast then i suddenly noticed my rotation a bit slow, so i went to speed up, then too fast and the rifle started turning and i was like shit shit shit going to drop then luckily it was like last round already so i managed to stop. Can hear the crowd cheering lar, then feel damn happy haha. For the march out, the exchange also got a lot of applause, but the saturn for my section was a little screwed. At least no rifles dropped. After the ending salute, i was like, it's over. I think it's the only chance in my life i will get to perform there, definitely has been a good experience =) we impressED and we will carry on impressING!

Marched out, with my head held high =) rested for awhile. Troy went to wake me up while i was half asleep to tell me he had to pee o.o went for the ncc pledge taking and singing of ncc song next. Yongle was standing behind me, and i was in first row, so i was determined not to laugh but that's almost impossible with yongle behind lol. We didn't know much of the ncc song lyrics, and it didn't help that yongle was going "lalalalala -laughs-" at unknown parts and "-silence-..VICTORY" and also "we are the nc..WE ARE THE NC" stupid yongle lol.

Went to take our stuff, take some photos at the same place where the performers for ac 06 took photos. And before we knew it we were on the bus back to school. Got our tea break stuff and oreo lol. Took photos in no.3, yangcheng busy camwhoring eh? lol. I suddenly felt quite empty, and i think i only realised why i feel this way after every performance when gordon told me why. Cos it's like, we put in so much time and effort into all the trainings and rehearsals, then suddenly what we have trained so much for is over, can't help feeling..nostalgic? haha.

Went to j8 for belated birthday dinner with wanjing! Saw some Ate at swensens, and wanjing learned two new things about j8 today? haha. The bus trip back seemed..unfamiliar? lol everything looks different at night. We alighted 1 stop early and had to walk but nevermind =) after that i experimented a new way of getting home since 156 takes so long and it was already around 9.20pm and i wanted to try to get home before 10. So i could take either 73 or 76 to amk mrt, but i thought that after missing the opp amk mrt station stop 76 would go to the interchange, but that was 73 lol. So i had to walk all the way back. Went to j8 to buy bubble tea for my sis and managed to reach home at 9.57 haha. Another fun outing =D

In conclusion today was a really good day haha. Tomorrow have tuition o.o haven't do homework pffft, and got school homework also. I shall try to do..lol.
