Today was a boring day... Woke up at 6.50, reached school at 7.30 for youth science conference at singapore polytechnic. Took bus, reached there at around 8.10. Then, we stoned inside the auditorium, and ng peng was so happy cos there was goodie bag, but with no goodies, so its jus a bag..with papers. And there was a schedule for the day..gusts to be seated: 8.45!!! And it starts at 9. As usual it delayed, so i didn't bother checking the time anymore. Then there were 3 presentations and prize presentations and stuff. The presentations, there's one about testing for meat, like if you buy chicken sausage then they scam you put pork inside they can test it. So the group for their project only got the dna of chicken, mutton, pork, beef and frog. Ng peng was amused by the frog. So after they presented, q n a, one njc guy asked a very funny question, how do you know if the chicken sausage did not contain other meats that you have not got the dna, like ant meat(LOL) then i think he realised ant had no meat, ant is formic acid according to chem heh, so he said deer meat lol. So funny, ant meat. Then the group said that the sausages they tested were bought by their mentor, and after they tested their mentor said it contained only chicken lol.
After the audi stuff, we had tea break. The food was nice, got nugget and fishball. And there are excalators in singapore poly!!! So ng peng said lets take the escalator, i asked for what, then he said cos got escalator. So we went up, then we went down. And we started laughing. Then the four of us stared at the ceiling to see if other people will stop and see whats up there, ng pengs idea. So after tea break we had to go to any of 5 lecture theateres for concurrent sessions of presentations, and we went to the one with someone from our school. So when the usher asked us which lt we were going to, we said 8, then cos shuin jian is very irritating we said that shuin jian is going to 9 then we walked away. But it turned out he was going to 9 anyway, im so smart wahaha. Oh and there was this umbrella man pointing his umbrella straight while he was walking around, so dangerous.
When we went into lt8, there was no one, except this teacher from our school. And suddenly umbrella man came in! Then there were other students also. And i saw daryll and jun an cos they came into the same lt. There was this judge who had sever attitude problem. Cos, the person from our school was presenting on enhanced blogging experience, and he said the blog skin can change according to your mood. So the judge said since today im feeling blue, i shall ask hard questions. So he asked whats the colour used to represent anger, and the person said there are two different sides, you can choose to express your mood, or to choose a colour to counter your mood, like if ur angry then it will soothe you, so he said he only tested out the counter mood, and he said he chose green. Then the judge attitude him, say what how can green represent anger, it should be red. Obviously he wasn't listening. And when the siren sounded, he said its cos he angry then it sounded, like it really wanna sound for him. Even if hes angry he shouldn't vent his anger on the participants. He asked so many stupid questions for all the presentations, and like even if they had to repeat what they presented he will still misinterpret and then scold them.
There was this funny one though, about this guy who went for industrial attachment, it was to kill time. So he said he worked in some graphics company or something. And in his two weeks there, he was trying to make a picture of a donkey close its mouth. But they couldn't do it even after two weeks lol.
After that went home. Then ate lunch at 3. Went out at 5 to go j8 eat dinner. Came home at 8 and now im gonna do my homework then mug..hopefully. =/ didn't get to to j8 with wj today..though i still went to j8.
